"I highly recommend Dr. Shi! I started seeing her because I had been having sciatic nerve pain in my left leg for almost 6 months. It kept me up at night and was hurting me so much during the day that sometimes I could not sit still. I also had tennis elbow from a car accident. I had been seeing a chiropractor for the sciatic nerve pain, but with little success. A friend recommended Dr. Shi's practice, and I'm glad she did! After a few treatments I already felt a lot better, and after just a month, both the sciatic nerve pain and tennis elbow were gone!!! Dr. Shi is now treating my knee, and that feels a lot better already too. I had knee surgery almost a year ago and re-injured it while mountain climbing on vacation. It was hurting o much that I started thinking I would need surgery again, but with Dr. Shi's treatment the swelling has gone down and the pain is almost gone. Last week, I was able to play a 3.5 hour tennis match, and I still felt good afterwards. Dr. Shi takes a lot of time for her patients and tries to get to know them so she can give them the best treatment possible."

"When I was first referred to Wendy by a friend, I thought sure I will go as I had tried western medicine, yoga, pilates, and even stomach massage. I had a lot of gas and constant fluid on my body. Of course I drank more water, altered my diet, but again the fluids would return and the ongoing feeling of bloating and discomfort.

When I first met Wendy, I immediately felt myself relaxing. She is a very spiritual person and I felt that right away from the tone in her voice and the gentleness in her touch was very genuine. I started going to Wendy 2-3 times a week and identified the triggers of my symptoms such as stressful events. Mindfulness, acupuncture, and cupping really began to help as my body seemed to relax. I was eventually relaxing in tea/herb baths in my home which also helped with the water retention and bloating. It really was a whole body transformation. Recognizing the triggers, relaxing the body and mind, let my body rid itself of unwanted toxins. Wendy is all a bout the process and assessing her clients rather than just fixing one problem. That's what I really appreciated. Thanks Wendy!"

"I was treated by Wendy for 2 years while I was living in Shanghai. I saw her for general wellness and pain management. She treated me for my frequent headaches, poor sleep, muscle stiffness, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, and poor digestion among other things. Her treatments were always thorough, tailored for my symptoms, and never rushed. She combines massage, heat therapy, cupping, and acupuncture, which always relaxes me. I often felt it was more of a spa than a treatment!

With treatment, I found that I slept better and my jaw tension and headaches greatly decreased. She was careful with treating my neck and back scoliosis, first sending me to do MRIs for both areas before coming up with a treatment plan. Pain due to my scoliosis and impinged nerves was also greatly reduced. It was always funny how her needles would 'start up' my stomach with actual rumbling noises. She explained that the stomach is the cauldron and if it is lethargic I get tired and lethargic too!

Other amazing benefits from regular treatment included the reduction of rings on the skin on my neck as well as disappearance of age spots all over the back of my body. Wendy explained that this is due to better blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, leading to better cell regeneration.

Wendy also did facial gua-sha and acupuncture for me, and the improvement on my skin was obvious- firmer, rosier, and a sharper chin.

I have missed Wendy's treatment after leaving Shanghai, and would recommend her care to anyone who needs a caring traditional Chinese medicine practitioner."
